How did I become a captivating storyteller who weaves tales that will transport young readers to other destinations and cultures? 

With a passion for childhood development and travel, I created the Willis Discovers Series as a passion project! After learning how financial funding isn’t distributed fairly amongst all the schools, I realized the underserved schools need books for their students. 

So I crafted a story, authentic experiences into an immersive and eye opening story from a dog’s narrative. My works introduce the artistic possibility of the world as well as encouraging organic learning moments. All with a mission to give books back to the elementary schools in need. 

Through my books, I hope to inspire not only a love for reading but a love for art that makes you feel and a deep understanding that there is a world outside of your hometown.
